Privacy Policy

If you join the waitlist, we collect your email address. If you later create an account, Tallyo may collect profile, business, invoice, mileage, bank connection, and tax-planning information needed to provide the product.

If you choose to connect a financial account, Tallyo uses Plaid Link to ask for your consent and connect your account. Your bank credentials are entered into Plaid, not Tallyo. Tallyo may receive account and transaction information from Plaid so we can help categorize business activity, deductible costs, personal transactions, and tax-planning records.

We use your information to provide Tallyo, send access and product updates, maintain security, improve the service, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

Tallyo may use infrastructure, database, payment, bank-linking, analytics, email, customer-support, and security providers to operate the service. These providers process information on our behalf. For example, Plaid may help connect financial accounts, Supabase may host account and application data, Vercel may host the application, Stripe may support payments or invoicing features, and Crisp may power in-app support chat.

You can ask to remove your waitlist email, disconnect connected accounts, or request account data help by contacting us. Product emails may include unsubscribe or account preference options when available.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide Tallyo, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and keep business records. You may request deletion of your account or connected financial data by contacting us. Some information may be retained where required by law or legitimate business needs.

Tallyo provides planning tools and records. It does not provide legal, tax, or accounting advice.
